A Missouri Thanksgiving.....

It's taken a while, but here's some pics from my trip to Missouri over Thanksgiving.  Unfourchuntly Caleb didn't get to finally dried up so he stayed home in Kansas and combined soybeans.

The weekend started with me "helping" my dad with his cattle chores

Actually I was trying to get a good picture of him, but he didn't cooperate very well

When I went I took a new pet for my mom.....Susie....she was a little nervous, but did really good

Then we headed over to Oak Ridige Church for the Brown Thanksgiving dinner....lots of great food, but you have to fight your way to the front of the line if you want any of it

Here's my momma (left) with her sister Cyola (Ky-o-la)

After that I headed over to my Grandma Nell's house to see her and my cousins, who were in from Wyoming.

Here's Grandma holding Corbin, one of her many great-grand childern, and Corbin's parents Joe and Jennifer.

Then on the way back home to Kansas I stopped at my Aunt Shirley's house in Kansas City and had some more great Thanksgiving food!!!

While there Logan thought it would be fun to turn the stairs into a slide...

But he wasn't the only one having fun doing it!
It was a lot of fun, but it was a long three days and I was sure glad to get home

  1. Great pics! Looks like everyone had a wonderful time!

  2. Thanks.....we had a great time....very little sleep, but who needs sleep!!! ;)

  3. Oh, I KNOW some of those people!! :) Thanks for sharing - looks like a great time. I am sure you get just a little homesick for Missouri sometimes! But home is home, and it's always good to get back after a visit. -Tammy

  4. Looks like a great time! I use to love doing chores with my Dad and Grandpa. But those days are long gone, and I don't miss having to get up early to feed. lol
