Easter Fun

Easter dinner with my side of the family was held at my folks house in NE Missouri, and in good family tradition we had a weinie roast. It was a little windy but it was a nice day just the same.

It had been a while since the last weinie roast so new roasting sticks had to be cut and carved.
And who would be better for this job? None other then my wonderful husband.
While he was working on that my brother Keith was working on getting the fire ready for the hotdogs.
Finally everyone showed up and we got to it...roasting weenies that is....but to be honest I had already had one before they all got there cause I was extremely hungry.
As you can see I wasn't the only one who pulled out my camera, and actually there is one more camera besides mine. We could easily open our own photography studio.

Now, let’s get down to business. It's time for the Easter egg hunt, and Fletcher is more than ready!
The eggs are hidden...
Not all the candy is placed in little plastic eggs....seriously its easier just to throw it into little piles all over the yard....if they don't find it all, don't worry the ants will love you for that.
Oh and forget those Easter baskets....Wal-Mart bags are easier and cheaper!
When it was all said and done all left with a bag full of candy. It was a wonderful time full lots of laughs.

After all the kids got enough candy to rot their teeth out everyone headed their separate ways and Caleb and I started on our 5 hour trip back to SE Kansas. So we could get some rest and get ready for the long crazy week ahead of us, cause its corn planting time and all this week we are hoping to get into the field and be extremely busy. So if I don't get very many blogs posted this week I apologize cause most likely I will tired and busy all week.

Lots of Love
Janet
