I had a crazy busy whorl-wind of a weekend filled with lots of tears and lots of laughter. Caleb and I made the trip back up to northeast Missouri to not only to see me new nephew Lincoln, but also to go to my wonderful Grandma Nell's funeral. It was a long, but quick weekend that entailed lots of late nights. Caleb and I just got back and are trying to get things all back to normal. I am so very tired, but I wanted to let ya'll know where I've been. I am hoping that tomorrow I will be able to sit down and tell ya what all I've been up to as well as tell ya all about my wonderful Grandma.
Here's a pic of me and Grandma this past Christmas when I was back up there.
Until later
Lots of Love
Janet
Oh man, I'm sorry for your loss. Seems to be going around. I know what you mean by a whorl wind weekend. Hope everything gets settled down.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are home again!! Treasure your memories of your Grandmother!! XXOO
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your grandma. I lost mine 2- 1/2 years ago, and you still miss them. At her funeral I made a list of all the things I never want to forget about her. It is special to me to this day. I will be praying for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your Grandma...I lost my grandpa a few years ago and I still miss him.
ReplyDeleteGrandma's are so very special. I love this picture and I treasure all the ones I have of my grandma who passed in February. In the sociology of death and dying class I took this past semester I read a quote that really made me think, "Death ends a life not a relationship." Just because grandma died doesn't mean I won't remember all our good times and how much love we had for each other!
ReplyDeleteI would so much rather hear a funny story as to why you've been MIA than to hear your grandma died, that's sad! I'm so sorry for your loss. At least you got to be there to say good bye :(. I lost my grandma in Sept 07 and my grandpa followed 9 months later in June 08. It's rough!
