A List

  1. I am making Lasagna for dinner (Lunch) today.
  2. Confession, I have never made Lasagna before and can't spell it without looking at the recipe.
  3. It's suppose to be in the 50's today so I am gonna take my new Christmas toy for a spin in the garden. Caleb already has his fall tillage done in the fields, now it's time for me to get mine done…well at least started.
  4. I still need to clean up the spare bedroom. It's been a disaster ever since before Christmas.
  5. I am starting to like the color green more and more.
  6. I finally found a pattern for crochet Christmas stocking and I'm working on making them for all my nephews and nieces.
  7. I have to start now because by the time next Christmas comes around I will need to have made 12 of them.
  8. The hardest part is making their names….I'm still tryin' to figure it out.
  9. I bet I miss-spell at least one of their names on the stockings.
  10. I hate eating celery.
  11. Knock on wood….we haven't seen any snow down here this winter, and it's been GREAT!
  12. My Christmas Cactus is blooming right now and it's beautiful!!!
  13. My aloe plant is trying to take over my house
  14. I need to clean my kitchen.
  15. I always need to clean my kitchen…it's small and I make big messes when I cook, and I cook a lot.
With all that being said I'm gonna go cause I have way too much to do.

  1. I refuse to eat cooked celery. Like in soups. Gag!! But I will eat it raw with peanut butter.

I always need to clean my kitchen and the reason being is my husband. He can't get a glass of water without using every pot and pan and tupperware in the house. I mean seriously how hard is it!!!

Bring your turbo tiller up here and we can play in the dirt! lol

  2. Holy cow, 12 nieces and nephews! I have 2 nephews (which is odd... doesn't seem possible but that's what you get when you marry into a family with kids ;)).

  3. hey mrs. phillips!

I love your blog, and have gained so much insight into the agricultural/rural lifestyle.

I'm looking for someone to help me with a student film I'm making that knows the ins and outs of grain harvesting.

Anyway, if you're interest in helping me, I'd love if you could email me at your convenience.

    happy new year!

  4. I'm still trying to get over the fact that its 50 degrees....WOW!

Fabulous list. I hope the lasagna turns out!

  5. Wow, 12! That's a lot. I am starting on a little craft project too now, so hopefully I'll have enough stock piled for gifts throughout the year. I hate celery too.

  6. Mmm, lasagna! I miss it. Can't eat dairy because little Miss doesn't handle it well. *sigh*

You go, girl for making 12 stockings! That's awesome. is my favorite color. Looove it!
